Professor's biography

Virginia Bombin has been an independent freelancer for over ten years and an adjunct professor at IE Business School for 15 years. She teaches in a wide range of masters to executive education programs. These include open and tailor-made programmes. At the same time, she collaborates on national and international programmes both face-to-face and remotely.


As a freelancer, she works independently on entrepreneurship, financial analysis and business valuation projects (national and international); all within the world of SMEs .


In the last two years she has invested in small capitalization growth companies that are traded on the Spanish alternative financial market. Thus, part of her time consists of visiting forums related to this market as an analyst in order to visualize what is being done and what other companies are doing.


She is also a specialist in training and collaborative management development related to innovative projects.


She worked for 6 years at IE Business School, between 1997 and 2002, developing open programs, participating in the early stages of as a faculty director, when IE started its online experience in the early 2000s.
